Summer – time to ride again
Our summer tour this year will entail circumnavigating Lake Michigan and visiting the Upper Peninsula which we missed last year. We drove to Goshen, IN to visit with Sarah, Curtis, and Elam again (we stopped here on Day 60 of our 2025 Dakota tour). They’re graciously allowing us to park our car for the 3-4 weeks the tour will take.
The week before we got here was a bit hectic — readying the bikes and dealing with different issues with both of them. Thanks to Freeze Thaw, Jim of Blacklist Bikes (and the Bike Roost), and Brookside Bikes, we were able to get them ready in time. (Note to selves: start earlier next time!)
Day 1 will take us to the Indiana Dunes National Park and day 2 we’ll end up in Chicago. Stay tuned for more adventures.
