The Dakotas – Days 32-34 Quick Update

? miles, ? of climbing, (over 1700 tot) – to read from the beginning, click here.

Medora, ND just a quick update on our tour. We haven’t had a chance to catch up on the blog as we’ve been having too much fun! After Glen Ullin, we stayed in Dickinson and then rode to Medora & Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

On the way to Medora, we stopped at The Painted Canyon visitor center on I-94 and got our first view of the Badlands. We stayed two nights in Medora and did a 12-mile hike through the Badlands on Monday. Quite challenging and we were ready for some cold water and beer after that hike. Today, we start heading south and are shooting for Amidon or Bowman. It’s supposed to be a hot one with a near 100° temp today so we may do the shorter ride. This is as far west as we’re going, and we are heading to South Dakota now. I’ll do a full update of the last 4 days as soon as I can.
